CHICKEN PILLOWS (AKA CHICKEN PLOOPERS)
Chicken Pillows (aka Chicken Ploopers)
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 T onion powder
- 2 T chopped parsley
- 4 T milk
- 2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Dough
- Italian bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- chicken gravy
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, onion powder, parsley and milk.
- Spread out crescent dough and press 2 triangles together to create 1 rectangle. Spoon a heaping pile of chicken mixture into center of rectangle and wrap up. Be sure ends overlap. Pinch sides closed to prevent leaking.
- Dip both sides of uncooked pillow in egg and then bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden brown and puffy.
- Spoon chicken gravy on top.
