Chicken Avocado Burger #chicken #chickenrecipes



INGREDIENTS
  1. 1 lb. ground chicken
  2. 1 firm but ripe, Fresh California Avocado
  3. 1 clove garlic, chopped
  4. 1 jalapeño pepper, chopped (optional)
  5. 1/3 cup panko crumbs
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1/2 tsp. salt
  8. 1/4 tsp. pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toss all ingredients together, being careful to not mush the avocado.
  2. Shape into 8 large or 8 small patties.
  3. Grill for about 4 minutes on each side or until inside of burger reaches 165 degrees.
Serving Suggestion: Serve without bun or on a toasted whole grain bun with toppings of choice.
* Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
